I hope you are having a great start to the week so far.

Several years ago someone gave me a poem that is made up of paraphrased Bible verses. I pray that as you read and meditate on the words God’s amazing peace and love would blanket your heart and mind.

Royal Princess

My precious daughter, I long for you to seek me and I will be found by you, says the Lord. Jeremiah 29:13-14

A garment of ashes is not worthy of your royal status my child for I have already called you by name, You are mine. Isaiah 43:1 

Follow me, to breathe new life into your weary soul and blow away your dust and the ashes that have veiled you too long. John 20:22

It is my delight to adorn you my royal daughter, with new robes. For see, I make all things new. Revelation 21:5

No longer shall you be called worthless. Your new name shall be holy to the Lord. 1 Peter 1:16

No longer shall you kneel on the dust, for I have raised you up to be seated in the heavenly realms to be united with Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6

No longer shall you be unprotected, for I shall guard all that is yours. Psalm 16:5

I am the guardian of your soul. 1 Peter 2:25

No longer shall you drown in your situation, for I shall reach down and draw you out of deep water. Psalm 18:16

Listen to me, Oh royal daughter, take heart what I say, for I delight in your beauty. Psalm 45:10-11

My princess shall be glorious in  her golden gown. Psalm 45:13

I have perfumed your beautiful robes with myrrh, aloes and cassia. Psalm 45:8

I have crowned you with glory and honour. Psalm 8:5

Humble yourself before me and I will place my crown of victory upon you. Psalm 149:4

My daughter you are my own possession, I will make you as a signet ring on my finger, for I have chosen you. Haggai 2:23

Now repent of your sins and turn to me so that your sins can be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from my presence. Acts 3:19-20

Because no matter how deep the stains of your sins, I can remove it. I can make you as clean as the freshly driven snow. Isaiah 1:18

And then my precious one, I will crown you with beauty for ashes. Isaiah 61:3
